The Wolf on Broadway is the second concept from owners, Wolfgang Schaefer and his wife, Whitney McAllister. The first being Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern a daily brunch spot in Brewer’s Hill, open since December of 2018, with a connected lifestyle shop, Orange and Blue Co.

This space is inspired by Wolfgang and Whitney’s own travels as a family with their son, extended family and friends.. Specifically merging inspiration from Paris and the United States West Coast. The space pulls from timeless Parisian inspiration with jade greens, soft peaches, and handmade stained glass. Handmade terracotta tiles and lime washed walls add a touch of the desert. When combined creates a comfortable, dreamy place for you to enjoy.

The Wolf on Broadway brings comfortable fine dining to downtown Milwaukee. The food is inspired by travel and family. Executive chef, Kristen Schwab draws on her family dinners growing up to bring dishes like corn fritters, sweet corn, cilantro, served with tamarind dipping sauce. The menu will also include Irma’s Lemon Grass Chicken Sandwich with lime leaf aioli and pickled chili, named for her Grandmother, Irma. Including a curated selection of cocktails and wine to pair with your meal.
